About Me
Sevim conducted PhD research at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart (Milan, Italy). The research lies at the intersection of decentralized finance, multi-blockchain environment, and econometric analysis. Sevim got his Master's degree at the University of Bologna in the field of financial markets law of the "Legal Studies" program (Bologna, Italy), his Bachelor's degree in law at Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey), and an Associate's degree in foreign trade (Eskisehir, Turkey).
Sevim has various work experience, including working at a customs office in Istanbul, working at the library "Gabriel Giodanich" of the University of Bologna, and an internship (remote) at the Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies to report on the developments of cyber, crypto and CBDC policies in the world. Sevim has been tracking the DLT ecosystem since 2017, particularly after the DeFi summer of 2020.
